Hana is, simply put, amazing. She isn’t simply a stylist, she’s an artist. I have been a client of hers for the last 15 years, and I have NEVER left her salon less than 110% satisfied, and loving what she’s done to my hair. I recommend her to everyone I come across. She’s well respected in the industry and a sought after stylist. Its a pleasure and my privilege to have her do my hair.

Hana is awesome! I saw an article about her and volunteer work with 60+ women and her work was impressive. So I called her about one year ago and have been going to her since. She has a great eye, does a great cut, is awesome with colour, and will tell you the real meal deal. My hair is longer, in great condition and the cut while youthful, is also age appropriate. I’m 64 and while everyone wants to have great hair, I have no desire to look 20 🙂

Despite the covid-19 mess preceding her reopening, Hana Akai honoured her promise to call me from a waitlist. It was my first time in her well-articulated salon. I found her professional and very knowledgable, with many years experience to bring to my growing-out-my-grey experience. She advised me well, chose the right toner to see me through the months of transition and gave me just the cut I wanted. She is friendly and I loved the private-salon experience. Never been happier with my hair!!
