She spent quite some time listening and asking questions so that she fully understand what I wanted, and then offered some very helpful suggestions. Once we had agreed on a style she executed it to perfection. The result is the best haircut I have ever had. I can’t recommend Hana highly enough!

Not only does Hana let me park in front of the shop(if time is right), she gives me fabulous hair cuts and even has little covers to avoid damage to my ears!!!!! Absolutely top drawer!! Rumour has it she is a friend of Warren Buffett…better and better.

Hana’s haircuts are miles above anyone else’s. She gives me a unique cut tailored to my particular type of problem hair (fine, dry, bushy in places, thin in others). Came in for a men’s cut and color the other day. Nice premises with convenient parking. Hana has the artistic bent and attention to detail needed for a good stylist.

I’ve been going to Hana at Akai Hair Design for 9 years. I’ve been to many other salons in the city. Hana gives the best haircut by far for men, although she is extremely talented with women’s styling of which she has a long and loyal following. Bottom line, very good at what she does and great personality, so I can highly recommend her.

Whether it’s a simple trim or a complex dye job, Hana consistently creates a better cut than I imagined. I’ve been going to her for 6 years now and would never consider going to anyone else to do my hair.

I am so happy to have found such a talented hairstylist. Hana takes her time cutting and styling my hair. She really listens to what I’d like and pays attention to details. She is such a down to earth woman, so positive and fun to chat with. She is also great with my 2 young girls, so patient and offers free bang trims between appointments. Also the location is great!
