Hana knew exactly what to do with my straight fine hair. I have only ever liked one other haircut in my 33 years of life and this is the BEST one yet. She has training to use just a razor to cut with and it was the perfect technique to get something that worked for my hair type and looks awesome on me. I feel amazing!

Hana is awesome! I saw an article about her and volunteer work with 60+ women and her work was impressive. So I called her about one year ago and have been going to her since. She has a great eye, does a great cut, is awesome with colour, and will tell you the real meal deal. My hair is longer, in great condition and the cut while youthful, is also age appropriate. I’m 64 and while everyone wants to have great hair, I have no desire to look 20 🙂

Akai Hana is one of the best hair stylist I have encountered. She takes a personal approach to each client, listens and accommodates to your wishes. She is creative, knows hair well and always has good advice to give you prove the health if your hair, advice that works. Very happy with the haircuts my daughter and I got. Despite the covid-19 mess preceding her reopening, Hana Akai honoured her promise to call me from a waitlist. It was my first time in her well-articulated salon. I found her professional and very knowledgable, with many years experience to bring to my growing-out-my-grey experience. She advised me well, chose the right toner to see me through the months of transition and gave me just the cut I wanted. She is friendly and I loved the private-salon experience. Never been happier with my hair!!
